As a result of the implementation of new standards, household appliances should be easier to fix. However, supporter's of the "right to repair" argue that it does not go far enough because only specialists, not ordinary consumers, will be able to make the repairs. Owners are usually unable to repair the equipment themselves—or find anyone else willing to do it for a reasonable price.

1. WARRANTY:

Our 90-day warranty only covers the exact issue that we attempted to remedy. It does not cover any other problems, repairs conducted by others, or malfunctions that were not caused by our mistakes (e.g., weather damage, pests). This warranty is personal to the buyer and cannot be transferred. In the case of incorrect appliance usage, maintenance, or moved appliances, the warranty is null and void. If a repair technician is deployed more than once to resolve the same warranty issue but cannot detect a fault or it turns out to be outside of warranty, a service call fee will be assessed. We reserve the right to determine whether or not to provide a warranty. If our technician investigates the issue(s) and discovers secondary flaws unrelated to our expert's workmanship, we will provide you with a repair cost estimate (s).There will be no refunds for labour or parts already delivered. At our discretion, we may provide partial returns. There is no guarantee for harm caused by external issues or interference by anyone else (other than our staff) sensing or interfering with the repair.

2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

We will not be held accountable for any payments in excess of our service fees obtained from the consumer. EITHER PARTY TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS., EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

3. WARRANTY / EXTENDED WARRANTY / SERVICE CONTRACT:

This repair will be completed with care. I certify that the manufacturer's warranty, extended warranty, or service agreement will cover this repair. My liability for the cost of this repair has not been waived, and I agree to be personally liable for the cost of this repair if the manufacturer/service contract company/extended warranty provider fails to pay any portion of the full amount of these charges due to warranty limitations (it is your responsibility to families with the manufacturer/extended warranty/service agreement warranty limitations), or if the warranty provider fails to pay any payment. If I am directly invoiced for all or a portion of the cost of this repair, I promise to repay those costs, as well as the reasonable cost of collection, including any attorney fees, within 10 days of the billing date.

4. DAMAGE WAIVERS:

We are not responsible if damage is caused by you.

a) Appliance relocation. A technician is not required to move the appliance, but if he or she agrees to do it for you, we cannot be held liable for resulting damages.

b) There are water leaks. You understand the risks inherent in working on appliances connected to the building’s plumbing system. Accordingly, we shall not be liable for unintended leakage and flooding.

c) Inadequate cooling.

d) Lifting a glass cooktop to access parts beneath it may result in breakage for which we are not responsible.
